THAT nominations for the Vice-Chair be closed.

THAT Irene Harris be appointed as Chair of the Accessibility Advisory Committee pursuant to the Terms of Reference; and THAT Scott Wallace be appointed as Vice-Chair of the Accessibility Advisory Committee pursuant to the Terms of Reference.

THAT the presentation by Michael Michaud, Manager of Planning, regarding Site Plan Review Training be received.

THAT the presentation by Albert Paschkowiak and Michael Farrell regarding preliminary plans for the improvement and naturalization of the northern extent of Centennial Park and Glendon Green boat launch be received; and AND THAT the Accessibility Committee recommends the following considerations for incorporation into the project: • installing a handrail at beach access point • utilizing hard dirt on the walking path at Glendon Green for better wheelchair accessibility • ensuring appropriate lighting in both Centennial Park and Glendon Green sites

THAT the presentation by Anne VanVlack, The County Foundation, regarding the Vital Signs presentation be received.

THAT the Committee defers items 11.1 and 11.2 of this agenda to the June 6, 2023, Accessibility Advisory Committee meeting.

THAT this meeting now adjourn at 8:33 p.m.
