Audit Committee

THAT the agenda for the Audit Committee meeting of November 9, 2023, be confirmed.

THAT the minutes from the Audit Committee meeting held August 9, 2023, be adopted as presented.

THAT the presentation by the Manager of Engineering, regarding Project Management 101 be received; and THAT the Committee recommends that Council direct Development Services staff to meet with Councillor Hirsch, Wilma Vreeswijk, and Jane Leslie from the Audit Committee to discuss oversight of the effective and efficient use of resources for infrastructure project management.

THAT the comment from the audience is received.

THAT the discussion on the municipal comparators of Norfolk County, Brant County, West Nipissing, and Grey County be received. THAT the Audit Committee encourages the consistent use of these four comparators through the Corporation.

THAT the Committee receive the discussion on the Work Plan for information.

THAT the Audit Committee now move into closed session to consider: (a) the security of the property of the municipality or local board; Pursuant to Section 239(2)(a) of the Municipal Act.

THAT the Committee recommends that Council direct IT staff to return to the Committee to address how much progress has been made regarding the 2021 Cyber Security plan.

THAT this meeting now adjourn at 5:32 p.m.
