Built & Cultural Heritage Advisory Committee

THAT the agenda for the Built & Cultural Heritage Advisory Committee meeting of December 10, 2025 be confirmed.

THAT the minutes of the Built & Cultural Heritage Advisory Committee meeting held on November 5, 2025 be adopted as amended.

THAT the following be added to the motion: "subject to the implementation of the final revisions recommended by the Heritage Permit Task Team.".

1. THAT report OPS-24-2025 be received; 2. THAT staff be authorized to execute, on behalf of the Municipality, the steps necessary to formally transfer the land title for the St John's Anglican Cemetery to the Municipality; 3. THAT staff be authorized to execute, on behalf of the Municipality, the steps necessary to transfer the operating license of the St John's Anglican Cemetery to the Municipality; 4. THAT By-law 3401-2014 be amended to add St John's Anglican Cemetery; and 5. THAT staff be authorized to work with the Cemetery Task Team and Built and Cultural Heritage Committee to prepare a forecast report for Committee and Council's information in 2026.

WHEREAS it is advisable that heritage considerations be reviewed earlier in the planning process to avoid unnecessary delays, Page 3 of 5 Minutes of the December 10, 2025 Built & Cultural Heritage Advisory Committee Meeting Circulated to Council on January 13, 2026 THAT the Built & Cultural Heritage Advisory Committee recommend Council direct staff to explore options for earlier consultation with the Built & Cultural Heritage Advisory Committee and Heritage Permit Task Team as part of a complete planning application.

THAT the updates from the Working Group and Task Team be received.

THAT the Built & Cultural Heritage Advisory Committee's discussion on its Work Plan be received.

THAT the updated Master List of Permits be received.
