THAT the deputation by Gord Gibbins regarding the Terms of Reference of the Built & Cultural Heritage Advisory Committee be received.

THAT the deputation by Liz Driver regarding the Terms of Reference of the Built & Cultural Heritage Advisory Committee be received.

THAT the deputation by Philip Evans regarding Heritage Permit Application HP-06-26 for 24 Wharf Street, Wellington (the Drake Devonshire) be received.

THAT the deputation by Richard Elliott regarding Heritage Permit Application HP-06-26 for 24 Wharf Street, Wellington (the Drake Devonshire) be received.

THAT the comments from the audience be received.

THAT the Built & Cultural Heritage Advisory Committee recommend to Council that Heritage Permit Application HP-06-26 for 20 and 24 Wharf Street, Wellington (Drake Devonshire) be deferred until a Heritage Impact Assessment (HIA) is provided by the applicant, at the applicant's expense, under Part V of the Ontario Heritage Act; and THAT the Built & Cultural Heritage Advisory Committee recommend to Council that staff be directed to procure a scoped HIA by a third-party heritage consultant to identify architectural character-defining attributes of the Wellington Heritage Conservation District (HCD), based on the Wellington HCD Study and Plan.

THAT the Built & Cultural Heritage Advisory Committee recommend to Council that Heritage Permit Application HP-11-26 for 375 Picton Main Street, Picton (Crystal Palace) be approved. THAT the Built & Cultural Heritage Advisory Committee endorse the submissions by the Heritage Permit Task Team for Heritage Permit Applications HP-12-26 and HP-13-26

THAT the Built & Cultural Heritage Advisory Committee discussion regarding the Cultural Heritage Master Plan be received.

THAT the Built & Cultural Heritage Advisory Committee endorses approval of the Cultural Heritage Master Plan by the Planning & Development Committee at its meeting on August 19, 2026.

THAT the Built & Cultural Heritage Advisory Committee discussion regarding preparing a memo to file be received.

THAT the Built & Cultural Heritage Advisory Committee recommends a return to single- focus heritage advisory committee in the next term of Council as recommended by the OHA and the CHMP and that single-focus advisory committees also be established for museums and cemeteries.
