Committee of the Whole

THAT the agenda for the Committee of the Whole meeting of November 12, 2020 be confirmed.

THAT the presentation by Sean-Michael Stephen, Manager, Watson & Associates Economists Ltd. regarding D.C. Background Study be received.

THAT the deputation by Brian Beiles, President of The County Foundation, regarding Interim Report: Meeting the COVID-19 Challenge be received.

THAT the deputation by Susan Banks regarding the New Tree Management and Preservation Policy be received.

THAT the virtual comments from the audience be received.

1.THAT Council refer report OP-18/2020 to staff to consider the following: • financial considerations • emphasis on native trees • mechanical brushing Committee of the Whole Minutes November 12, 2020 Adopted as circulated to Council on November 24, 2020 • requirement for tree size on municipal property; and any other applicable input.

THAT the first Committee of the Whole meeting of November be held on Wednesday November 10, 2021.

1.THAT Council receive report CAO-09/2020 for information; and 2.THAT Council pass a by-law, at the next applicable Council meeting approving the Application to Approve the Expropriation of Land and authorizing the execution and service of the Notice of Approval to Expropriate Land by the Clerk for the Laneway to Foster Pioneer Cemetery.

THAT this meeting now adjourn at 4:00 p.m.
