Committee of the Whole Minutes March 14, 2024 Adopted as circulated to Council on March 26, 2024 THAT the agenda for the Committee of the Whole meeting of March 14, 2024 be confirmed.

THAT the deputation by Andrew Siegwart, President & CEO Tourism Industry Association of Ontario to address Committee regarding the Municipal Accommodation Tax (MAT) landscape in Ontario be received.

THAT the presentation by Charles McKee, Vice-Chair, Visit The County regarding the Visit the County2023 annual report be received.

THAT staff be directed to eliminate the beach steward position, and utilize existing resources for Wellington beach management.

1. THAT Council receive report CSP-01-2024; 2. THAT Council approve the 2024 Tourism Management Plan workplan and budget attached to this report; and, 3. THAT Council amend Schedule 'N' of the Fees and Charges By-Law 168-2023 as amended, to eliminate the admission fee at Wellington Rotary Beach.

1. THAT Council receive report CSP-06-2024; 2. THAT Council approve a By-Law to regulate temporary outdoor patios on municipal property and private commercial property; 3. THAT a By-Law to amend By-Law 168-2023, being the 2024 Fees & Charges By-Law to delete and replace Schedule F, be approved at the March 26, 2024 Council meeting; and, 4. THAT a By-Law to regulate outdoor patio extensions on municipal property and private commercial property to update the sidewalk patio program be approved at the March 26, 2024 Council meeting.
