Committee of the Whole Minutes January 30, 2025 Adopted as circulated to Council on February 11, 2025 THAT the agenda for the Committee of the Whole meeting of January 30, 2025 be confirmed.

THAT the deputation by Mark Rose, Executive Director, Picton Business Improvement Association (BIA) regarding 2024 Review/2025 Preview be received.

THAT the deputation by Sarah Fox, Executive Director Visit The County regarding Tourism & Economic Development be received.

THAT staff be directed to bring forward a report on an "exceptional partnership" with the PEC Chamber of Commerce to support local businesses under the new Community Grants Policy, and return to Council with a draft agreement for Council consideration outlining the terms and conditions of the grant.

THAT the deputation by Duarte Da Silva, CEO Prince Edward County Chamber of Commerce regarding the economic development of the Chamber be received.

THAT the comment from the audience be received.

1. THAT Council receive report CSP-04-2025; 2. THAT Council endorse the Economic Development Action Plan, as a roadmap for directing the work of municipal staff over the next five years; 3. THAT Council direct staff to develop a Community Improvement Plan (CIP) and propose a sustainable funding model, eligibility criteria and application and adjudication process for any programs related to the CIP; and 4. THAT Council direct staff to bring forward a Terms of Reference, proposed membership, and proposed milestones for a Childcare Task Team in Q1 2025.

Personnel Matters - A personal matter about an identifiable individual, including municipal or local board employees (Pursuant to Section 239 (2) (b) of the Municipal Act).
