Environmental Advisory Committee

THAT the Agenda for the Environmental Advisory Committee meeting of August 27, 2020 be amended to include an item on workings groups and be confirmed.

THAT the Environmental Advisory Committee minutes from the meeting held on August 13, 2020 be adopted.

THAT Mark Boone, Quinte Conservation's presentation on Drought Project and LIDS in Prince Edward County be received.

THAT the Environmental Advisory Committee meet on the second Thursday of every month at 3:00 p.m.

THAT the Discussion on Creation of Environmental Advisory Committee Planning Group and Water Security Working Group be received; AND THAT the Environmental Advisory Committee Planning Working Group be created; AND THAT the following Environmental Advisory Committee Members be appointed to the Environmental Advisory Committee Working Group: • Councillor Hirsch • Councillor Bailey; AND THAT the Water Security Working Group be created; AND THAT the following member of the Environmental Advisory Committee be appointed to the Water Security Working Group: • Angus Ross; AND THAT the Terms of Reference for the Tree Working Group be amended to include a broader mandate.

THAT the Clerk's Office contact prior applicants of the Environmental Advisory Committee to inquire about their interest in joining an Environmental Advisory Committee Working Group.

THAT this meeting now adjourn at 5:17 p.m.
