THAT the Agenda for the Council meeting of September 24, 2024 be confirmed.

THAT Council move into closed session to consider: • litigation or potential litigation, including matters before administrative tribunals, affecting the municipality or local board; • a position, plan, procedure, criteria or instruction to be applied to any negotiations carried on or to be carried on by or on behalf of the municipality or local board Pursuant to Section 239 (2) (e) & (k) of the Municipal Act.

THAT the deputation by Paul Allen regarding the report of the Office of the Integrity Commissioner, Robert J. Swayze regarding Code of Conduct Complaints be received.

1. THAT Council receive report DS-61-2024; 2. THAT Council authorize the Mayor and Clerk to execute an agreement with Earth-Crete Ontario Inc to install new sidewalk on Union Street in the amount of $ 441,155.00 plus all applicable taxes; 3. THAT Council approve funds in the amount of $50,352.11 be added to Capital Project INI-0160 from the Capital Project INI-0157; Regular Council Minutes September 24, 2024 Adopted as circulated to Council on October 8, 2024 4. THAT Council approve additional funds in the amount of $238,273.00 from the Reserve for Roads Construction-Urban be added to Capital Project INI-0160; and 5. THAT a By-Law, as listed on this agenda, to authorize the execution of an agreement between the County of Prince Edward and Earth-Crete Ontario Inc. be approved.

THAT Council refer report HJM-02-2024 back to staff to provide the costing of the alternative solution by the November 12, 2024 Council meeting. 1. THAT Council receive report HJM-02-2024; Regular Council Minutes September 24, 2024 Adopted as circulated to Council on October 8, 2024 2. THAT Council authorize the Mayor and Clerk to execute an agreement between the County of Prince Edward and Troy Life & Fire Safety Ltd. for the design and installation of a sprinkler system and the upgrade of the fire alarm panel for a combined total of $476,660.02 plus applicable taxes; and 3. THAT a By-Law to authorize the execution of an agreement between the County of Prince Edward and Troy Life & Fire Safety Ltd., as listed on this agenda, be approved.
